The Thane creek Bridge (TCB), also known as The Vashi Bridge, is a bridge across Thane Creek that connects Mumbai City to Navi Mumbai. The Thane Creek currently has two bridges of which Bridge No.1 (TCB-I) is used for light motor and bridge No.2 (TCB-II) is having 6 lanes (3+3 lane) divided carriageway. Due to the increasing demand in Traffic MSRDC initiated the construction of The TCB III which will have two numbers of 3 lane major bridges on both sides of the existing TCB II bridge, a total length of the bridge is 3.28 Kms including approaches on both sides.
Preconstruction Planning – Deployment of Key Staff, review of Contract Document, Setup Administrative, and Document Control System, preparation of Civil Construction Manual, Commencement of Execution
Supervise the Geotechnical investigation and the bathymetric Survey.
Prepare the QA/QC manual, approve laboratory setup, material/resource, and approval of mix design.
Assist the client (MSRDC) in obtaining Environmental clearances.
Project Control Management Activity – review contractor’s schedule, resource planning, work progress, prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly progress reports, maintain & update Resource, payment records.
Administration & Cost Activity – Approval of completed work, working drawings, certification of payments, update estimates, contract variations, claims, arbitration.
Construction Supervision – supervision of construction execution, maintain & update site documents
Quality Activities – Inspection of works, test of material/quantity, stage wise and final approval, final completion report and final payment certificate
