Depot is a mandatory and essential facility for smooth operations of any Metro system. The infrastructure and facilities provided in the Depot ensure timely maintenance of the trains during non-working hours. It is also the starting point for train operation every day. Depot for Metro trains is akin to a “home” for any human being. PADECO has been awarded the Detailed Design Consultancy for Bangalore Metro Airport Line Depot. The depot will accommodate maintenance workshops, Operation control centers, metro stations stabling sheds, and ancillary facilities for rolling stock.
