Supplemental Survey/study on Metro Projects (Mumbai Metro Phase 2, Vijayawada Metro, and Delhi Metro Phase 4 in India.

The objective of the Supplemental Survey was to review the metro project implementation plans for three candidate projects through examining Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and other relevant documents.
The objective of the Supplemental Survey is to confirm the preconditions of the Mumbai Metro Phase 2 (72 km), Vijayawada Metro (26 km), and Delhi Metro Phase 4 (104 km) projects.
The study included metro route plans, demand forecasts, an operation and maintenance plan, basic design, project cost estimate, implementation schedule, procurement methods, and an implementation structure.

Under the Supplemental Survey,

PADECO INDIA carried out a technical review of the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) concerning the traffic demand forecast, train operation plan, rolling stock, geometric design, alignment, civil engineering, and station planning.

Reviewing and updating of passenger demand forecast.

Confirmation of rolling stock technical specification, brake, and main circuit system, fire protection, safety, etc

Confirmation of land requirement, geotechnical investigation, utility diversion, alignment, station planning, etc., and review of design standard.

Confirmation of project scope including civil structures, rolling stock depots and facilities, and architectural facilities.

Preparation of draft TOR for consulting services.

Considerations for project implementation structure and schedule (including the study on work periods of metro projects in India)

Review of the existing Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Resettlement Action Plans (RAP).
