Due to heavy ridership on the metro, the current lines are overcrowded, especially at peak hours. Hence, to reduce the load on the existing lines, the new lines are being constructed interconnecting with the existing lines for ease of travel and to reach the areas where the current lines do not serve, so the Phase 3 project for Delhi Metro was initiated by DMRCL.
Construction Supervision, Quality Assurance, Designing support, BOQ Calculations, Tender preparation, and others.
Identifying the required standards for health and safety associated with the Project and overseeing monitoring to assure conformity to internationally accepted standards.
Performing regular inspections and assessments of health, environment, and safety associated with the project on-site and briefing the Client’s top management.
Assisting in effective implementation of the Safety, Health, and Environment management plans (EMP).
Assisting in administrating safety-related training programs for top management and operational personnel of the Client and contractors to enhance their safety awareness.
Responding to health, environmental, and safety incidents with immediate recommendations for management, mitigation, and future prevention.
Participating in and conducting safety promotional activities.
Review method statements/work procedures and provides comments as necessary.
Organizing special meetings with Clients and contractors for discussing method statements/work procedures for high-risk activities.
Reviewing emergency procedures for tunneling and underground works.
Advising the Client and contractors on specific and international health and safety requirements for underground and tunneling works.
Review of weekly/monthly safety and health documentation submitted by contractors and provide comments as necessary.
