Detailed Project Report for the Tuticorin port upgradation project.

Client: Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

One of 13 major ports in India, Tuticorin Port has seen its traffic spike in recent years. An expansion of the port was necessary to cope with the unprecedented increases in cargo handling volume. It was planned for an outer harbor to be constructed around the already existing inner harbor in the expansion project of Tuticorin Port. To keep the harbor operationally stable and to maintain the minimum depth required for the construction of a Break Water, Channel, and Basin, dredging and reclamation were required.
