The Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed corridor has a project length of 521 km with 12 stations and three depots at Sabarmati, Surat, &Thane. This project will reduce the travel time to 2 hours from the current 7-8 hrs thereby providing swift connectivity between the states of Maharashtra and Gujarat. This project also intends to be a game-changer for the Indian Rail transportation sector which will boast of an ungraded world-class system. The expected top speed of the train will be between 320-350 km/hr.
Assistance to National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) in Environmental clearances for the coastal regulation zone, protected area clearances.
Support NHSRCL to update RAP (Resettlement Action Plan). Review and update the EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment).
Monitoring the progress of RAP, implementation, and recommending early-stage solutions for the dispute cases.
Upfront Engineering design and providing general consultancy to fast track this important project.
